Two Blue Rhino was integral to the growth that placed The WB Television Network on par with the “Big 4” in TV markets #100 to #211 by negotiating distribution agreements with the nation’s top cable MSOs at the corporate, regional and local level, as well as with Independents. They also put together ad-sales partnership agreements with a number of cable and broadcast partners in the aforementioned local markets. In an environment where scores of networks vie for carriage on systems with limited channel capacity, Two Blue Rhino not only achieved rapid cable growth, delivering 7 million+ of the targeted 8.5 million cable subscribers, but gained the best possible channel position with the goal of fostering increased ratings. |
